The Convento do Beato is one of Lisbon's most striking historic venues — vaulted ceilings, a 16th-century cloister, an industrial-era refectory wing — but most prospective clients only see it once they've already committed to a site visit. The brief was simple: let people walk through the venue from anywhere, on any device, before they ever email the team.
The constraint: it had to embed on the client's existing marketing site without breaking the brand, and it had to load fast enough that no one bounced before reaching the cloister.
Mirrorless 360 capture
Shot the venue across a single working day with a Sony α7 III on a 360 nodal rig — each room captured as a multi-pass HDR bracket so the dark cloister stops and the bright refectory glass both render without clipping. Post in Lightroom + Photoshop to lock a single tonal pass across the entire run.
Built on our own platform
Stitched scans were loaded into VRBox — our in-house virtual tour platform — and connected with hotspots so the visit follows the natural path through the convent. Light branding pass to match the Convento's typography and palette. Analytics wired up so the venue team can see which rooms get clicked most.
One embed, every channel
The tour ships as a single iframe URL that drops into the client's CMS, sales decks, and email signatures. No app, no download, no plugin.
The tour has been live on the Convento's marketing site since 2022 and is the first link the sales team sends to qualifying enquiries. It shortens the time-to-site-visit and means prospects arrive already familiar with the layout — fewer surprises, faster decisions.
