1. What are cookies

Small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let websites remember preferences and behaviour across visits.

2. What this site stores

This site sets no cookies at all. What it keeps lives in your browser's own storage, which you clear the same way:

Strictly necessary (no consent required)

• amp-consent — exists only if you switch analytics off, and remembers that you did. Local storage. Until you clear it or switch analytics back on.
• amp-lang-v2 — remembers the language you chose (EN/PT/ES). Local storage. Until you clear it.
• amp-seen — remembers that you have already watched the opening animation, so it plays once and not on every page. Session storage: gone when you close the tab.

Analytics

We run our own, on our own server: the page you opened, the site that sent you here, the language, and a one-way hash that rolls every 24 hours so we can tell one visit from two. No cookies, no IP stored, no profile, nothing sent to anyone else — the same first-party basis described in the Privacy Policy. Because it stores nothing on your device and identifies nobody, it runs without consent — and you can still switch it off, from the foot of any page or right here, in which case nothing more is sent. The one-way hash is made with a random key that changes every day and is thrown away, so yesterday's visits cannot be linked to anyone, or to today's.

Marketing

We do not use marketing cookies.

3. Your choice

There is nothing to accept, so there is no banner. Analytics is the only thing you can switch off: Analytics on — the same switch sits at the foot of every page. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything listed above.

4. Third-party services

Nothing from a third party loads when you open a page. The typefaces are served from our own server, and there is no third-party script, pixel or tracker anywhere on the site.

Two things load only if you ask for them:

• Virtual tours. Some case studies let you walk the tour inside the page. It is hosted by VRBox, on Matterport, and loads only when you press Walk the tour. From then on the tour sets its own cookies, under VRBox's policy.
• Lab experiments. The live versions are static pages on GitHub Pages and load when you press play. They set no cookies.

Links to Google Calendar and to press articles open in a new tab — those sites have their own policies, and you only reach them if you click.
